I am currently a PhD student at University of Padova and R&D algorithm engineer at Aquifi Inc.. I have received a bachelor's degree ("Laurea triennale") in Information Engineering in 2011 and a master's degree ("Laurea magistrale") in Telecommunications Engineering in 2013 (110/110 cum laude) both from the University of Padova.
Since January 2014 I'm a PhD student enrolled at the Graduate School of Information Engineering at the University of Padova. My research interests are in computer vision, in particular in the acquisition and processing of 3D scenes acquired from multiple sensors. I have also worked on gesture recognition from RGB-D data and other sensors. My works focus on combining color and depth information to improve the quality of the data independently produced by the sensors.
I have served and I'm serving as a reviewer and TPC member for ICIP, ICME and IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
